Happy Sunday

It's a happy Sunday indeed when you discover that the blog you have been following since basically blogs were invented is coming out of the screen and into your life.

smittenkitchen is a perfect blend of real life stories and amazing "I must make that now" recipes".  I admit, I've only made a handful of the 801 recipes that Deb has cooked up but, boy oh boy, they are amazing.

And. Joy of joys.  Her real life cooking demo and book signing is on in New York WHEN I AM THERE!

Don't come knocking on the 30th of October - I will not be home.

On paper the trip was to get a visa to enter a certain country but really the trip was about my sister and friends and tales told late at night about sweet things. And sunshine.  Sydney does sunshine very very well.
